Natural bar of soap made with locally roasted fair trade coffee beans.

Columbus, Georgia, nicknamed “Fountain City,” known for its numerous fountains and a local coffee shop called “Fountain City Coffee” ( inspired us to name this bar soap “Fountain City.”

“Fountain City” was originally called “Iron Works” made with Fair Trade coffee from another supplier.  The owner at Fountain City Coffee approached us during “Market Days On Broadway” (, a Saturday morning market with local goods, and said that they have Fair Trade Coffee and roast the beans locally. The owner asked if we would make our natural soap with Fountain City Coffee’s Fair Trade coffee to keep it local.  We toured where Fountain City Coffee roasts their beans and fell in love with the smells.

I love all of the earth baby soaps but this one is by far my favorite! I used to use commercial soaps until I met Kevin in Pine Mountain. When I used commercial soaps my skin stayed dry and I always had bumps on my shoulders and back. After I tried Iron Works I just fell in love with it! After using a few bars I noticed an huge improvement in my skin. Now earth Baby soap is the only soap I use. I wouldn’t dare go back to commercial soaps. Thanks to Kevin and Bonnie! Keep up the good work! I’m a man and I’m proud to be an Earth Baby!

This is my favorite soap from this company. I have been buying and using it for years. I haven’t used conventional soap in years. If I go to a hotel or a relatives home and I am forced to use commercial soaps, my skin pays a price. I love to gift this soap to all my family and friends. It makes a great stocking stuffer! I have since moved from Columbus, and now anytime Im in town I have to make a stop at the Posh Peach to buy 25 bars of soap or I order it online! The only sad part is that I don’t get to catch up with my dear friends anymore! Wonderful soap and I will probably die if they ever quit making it! Love you Kevin, Bonnie and all the columbus Earth Babies!
